Yesterday Friday 1st August I was invited to have a meal at Mrs. Stringer’s house and Mrs. Smith was also there. After the meal Anna challenged Mrs. Smith to a game of chess if fact they played three. Anna beat Mrs. Smith in every game. Well done Anna. Mrs. Smith’s report would say “Could do better - more work needed” JOHN
The performance at the end of the afternoon was excellent. I am always impressed with the quality of singing from such a small group. I don’t know what you can do next year to follows this.
Yesterday on the 3rd of june we had a sports day at 1:15pm there were seven teams; there names were cows with guns!,chipping cobras!,urban jipseas!,chipping chimps! , the cheeters!,the hopefulls! & the unknown?.I was in the chipping cobras with Henry,Elliot,Nicole,Jennifer & Fleur
and over all we had about 29 points but we didn’t win; in 3rd place cows with guns in 2nd place the urban jipseas and in 1st the cheeters.
Our visit On Monday 7th at July, the year 6’s when on a induction day St Cecilia’s. The first thing we did was have an assembly and we learnt that after prayers we now say “St Cecilia, pray for us.” which we thought was quite nice. By Cameron and Joseph To day Jack Fletcher came to Parlick to help me to put a picture on the blog.He wrote instructions on piece of paper so we knew what to do.Guess what? it worked.Thank you Jack. |
